The Russian artist Eugene Hontor was born in Krasnodar in 1985. The peculiar representative of the modern naive art enjoys creating fantasy worlds, fantastic images and mythological animals, a variety of non-existent realities. My favorite theme is the fabulous animals.
His wonderful animals are made of velvet plastic. It is a modern material – air hardening polymer clay. After hardening it does not deform or change shape. It does not require baking and colors are easily mixed. Eugene began to work with velvet plastic in December 2006. He often uses wire, beads, stained glass paint, acrylic, watercolor and even colored pencils.

Asya Kozina was born on May 5, 1984 in Dnepropetrovsk. Now she lives and works in Russia. The artist creates paper dolls, dresses, clothes, shoes, toys, pictures. The girl was born into a family of artists and since childhood she was fascinated by cutting paper. At first she made just different unusual figures. Then she was engaged in dancing and decided to make it her profession. But because of the injury she had to leave dancing and paper art became very interesting to her. While studying at the university, she studied drawing, painting, sculpture, decorative arts, design, and more, but she finally understood that the paper became for her an inexhaustible source of creativity.
In 2007 she opened her first solo exhibition – White Passion. Since then, there have been many exhibitions and a new series, but work with the white paper became her trademark, and the only material she worked and do experiments with.

Florimond Hervé (1825-1892) was a legendary French composer, father of operetta. He wrote more than 120 operettas, he also wrote masses, motets and other spiritual compositions. The best of his operettas were prompted by stories that he got in… a madhouse.
Very sad seventeen-year-old young man was walking through the streets of Paris. He learned to play the organ, but a professional organist came to the church, which sheltered him. He didn’t have a musical instrument anymore.
Suddenly he heard a voice: “Here’s your future!” And the boy heard the sound of the organ. He saw the old church and decided to enter. The church was silent. Florimond saw the organ and began to play. The priest heard his musical improvisation and came to him: “Providence has led you into, my young friend! We really need an organist!”
Florimond was surprised: “But I heard that someone was playing the organ!”

Do you like travelling? I think you do. And I’m sure every time you are going to travel you take your camera to take unforgettable photos. You know, Teresa Lim is an unusual tourist. Instead of the camera she takes a needle and threads with her. Teresa embroiders pictures of interesting places. She didn’t want to be like the average tourist and therefore chose a very non-standard and unique way to preserve her travel memories. She makes embroidered miniature depicting landscapes and landmarks of the places she’s visited. To date, she has her own handmade souvenirs from Vietnam, Germany, Tokyo and Prague.

Lithuanian wizard creates amazing Steampunk sculptures. Arturas Tamasauskas lives and works in Vilnius. He creates interesting animals and different things using various metal parts.
Arturas Tamasauskas says that his favorite sculptures are birds, because they are “very strange mechanisms”. I have a feeling that he can see the mechanisms in everything that surrounds him. He even created Steampunk radio.
At first glance his works may seem cold, but when we look at them carefully, we can see that they are based on a great idea.
In recent years Steampunk has become a craft and lifestyle movement. It sometimes associated with cyberpunk.

In 2006 the artist graduated from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. Her work ranges in various themes of architecture, fantasy and landscapes. She is keen on nature, patterns, colors and the hand-made. She always looks for something beautiful, curious, and inspirational. She investigates and explores everything she finds fascinating. Not only magic, mystery and magnificence of nature, but also man-made environments and structures attract her.
She is in love with the nature, which comes alive in her wonderful stained glass mosaics. Picturesque landscapes made of colorful glass amaze with the realism and completeness of colors.

Rob Gonsalves is a Canadian artist working in the style of magical realism.
He was born in 1959 in Toronto. As a child, Rob constantly developed his interest in drawing. At the age of 12 he started painting. Gonsalves drew his first surrealist paintings when he saw the works of Salvador Dali and Yves Tanguy. Magic Realism by Rene Magritte and Maurits Cornelis Escher had a great influence on his future work.
After graduating from college Gonsalves worked as an architect, but also painted theater sets. After the successful exhibition of street art in Toronto in 1990, Gonsalves devoted himself entirely to painting.
His images are always well planned and they are the result of conscious thought. The ideas of the pictures are generated from the outside world and are based on human activity. The artist uses a carefully planned illusion trick. Gonsalves adds magic in the real scene. His painting is an attempt to show people that the impossible is possible.
