So different but still friends
Too often we erect barriers guided by stereotypes and prejudices. If we put aside all unnecessary things, there would be much more warmth, friendship and love in the world.
The tale about friendship between the kitten and the mouse
In one city, in one of the apartments little mouse Manya lived. She lived there for a long time and remembered all its residents. One came, others left, and almost every family had a cat who was trying to catch her. Manya was a very lucky mouse. She ran away and hid herself in her nice, clean and warm burrow. There she had many different and useful things.
One day a new family: mom, dad, little boy and a kitten, came to the apartment. The kitten was named Kesha. He was small, white and very funny. He smelled Manya at once, but he couldn’t get to the hole and grab her. Once he almost caught her. Kesha grabbed her tail. His claws were very sharp and he hurt her. Next time, he scratched her paw, but the mouse slipped into her burrow again.
The days passed. And once mother and father began repairing the apartment. Nails, screws and other very dangerous things for young kittens and mice were everywhere. That day Manya went to the kitchen for some bread and cheese. But before she could come out of her burrow Kesha rushed toward her. The mouse was confused and thought that she couldn’t run away. But the poor kitten forgot about nails. He hurt his paw and began crying. Manya rushed to her burrow, took the first-aid kit and bandaged Kesha’s paw. He stopped crying and looked at the mouse.
Manya just said, “Let’s be friends!”
“Ok”, the kitten answered.
When the little boy, his mother and father came home, they saw that Manya and Kesha collected all the nails and put them in the corner. Two friends were sitting on the floor and eating the cheese, which they pulled out of the refrigerator.
