The artist draws with both hands. One of her works, Diamond Dust, the artist was drawing for eight days at the Chrysler Museum of Art, which is located in Norfolk. The entire creative process was broadcasted live.

Fingers instead of brushes
Finger painting by Iris Scott
Iris Scott creates amazing pictures working in a very unusual and very interesting technique – finger painting. Iris works in Taiwan. Her wonderful paintings attract collectors from around the world.
For a long time, Iris used traditional brush. In 2009 the artist received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Washington and moved to Taiwan, where she began to create her paintings. She settled in a small apartment with a sea view. There were no air conditioners in the kitchen and in the bathroom, where the girl washed her brushes. There was only one in the room where she was drawing. Iris didn’t want to leave the cool room and she began to paint with her fingers.
“The new picture always begins in the morning with a cup of strong coffee in my hand. Like my dentist, I put purple latex gloves on and start to work. My fingers are dancing on canvas.”
