Dolphins look like big fishes, but they are actually mammals. They belong to a large group of animals called whales.
There are two groups: true dolphins and river dolphins. True dolphins live throughout the world and the most widespread species are the common dolphin and the bottlenose dolphin. The River dolphins live in freshwater in South America and Asia. There are thirty-two species of dolphins.
Most dolphins are 2 to 3 meters long, but some species can reach a length of 4 meters.
A dolphin breathes through a single nostril, called a blowhole, on the top of its head.

Geckos are small lizards known for their incredible climbing ability. There are about 650 species of gecko. They live in warm areas of the world.
They are 3 to 15 centimeters long, including the tail. Geckos are gray, brown, dirty white and green. The texture and color of a gecko’s skin provides excellent camouflage.
They can climb very well. Each of its toes has thousands of tiny hairs on the bottom. At the end of each hair are hundreds of even tinier pads. As a gecko climbs, these pads spread out to create a strong sticking power. They are able to climb up polished glass walls and even run across ceilings. Unique legs of geckos allow them to hold weight, which is ten times greater than their own. Thus, a lizard weighing only 50 g can hold a load of 2 kg on its legs.

Civets are small to medium-sized carnivores in the Viverridae family which includes genets, linsangs, and mongooses. There are 35 species of civets. They vary in size and form, but mostly have a catlike appearance with long noses, slender bodies, pointed ears, short legs and a long furry tail.
Civets are nocturnal animals and usually rest in a hollow tree, rock crevice or empty burrow during the day. They are solitary animals.
Civet oil has been used in the perfume industry for centuries. It is also valued for its medicinal uses which include the reduction of perspiration, a cure for some skin disorders and claims of aphrodisiac powers. The oil was imported from Africa by King Solomon in the tenth century B.C.

All stars are basically enormous balls of fire made up of gases which give off heat and light as they burn. Their power comes from nuclear energy.
The life of a star spans billions of years. It is born from clouds of dust and the element hydrogen. A protostar, glowing gas ball, becomes a star when hydrogen atoms combine to form helium. A star can continue to glow for millions of years. When the star finally runs out of hydrogen it starts to cool.
Red supergiants are stars run out of hydrogen. They explode in a violent blast, supernova, but in some cases they may become a black hole.

Apples are grown for eating, cooking, and juicing. They are also preserved as jams, jellies, apple butter, and chutneys. Apples may be red, green, greenish yellow, pink, or orange. They are about 5 to 10 centimeters wide.

Geese are large birds of the waterfowl family, consisting of ducks, geese, and swans. Geese occur in many types of aquatic habitats, on all continents but Antarctica. They breed in freshwater marshes, salt marshes, or marsh-fringed, open-water wetlands. Common species of goose include the Canada goose, the greylag, the barnacle goose, and the snow goose.
They eat roots, rhizomes, and shoots of grass-like plants, and on seeds and grains.
Most species of goose undertake substantial migrations between their breeding and wintering grounds. Flocks of migrating geese commonly adopt a V-shaped formation. This formation helps keep them from getting tired as they fly because each goose gets a lift from the air flowing off the goose ahead.
